House Rules

  1. Full payment of the reservation must be made at check-in.
  2. Listening to loud music in rooms or areas close to them is prohibited.
  3. No smoking in closed areas or near the rooms.
  4. Only pets are allowed under reservation and in some rooms.
  5. We are not responsible for damage or loss of personal belongings.
  6. Damage will be charged (wine stains, burns, cuts, among others) that the guest may cause during their stay.
  7. We reserve the right of admission and permanence.
  8. We are not responsible for personal injuries caused inside or outside our facilities' installation, during the stay or transit in our facilities.
  9. Furthermore, we are not responsible for any situation caused in tours or walks outside our facilities.

Cancellation Policy

Please read our cancellation policy carefully, as it is not common for us to make an exception for it. In order to avoid any misunderstandings, we would appreciate your paying attention to the following:


  • No refund is made.
  • Date changes will be made at least 7 days in advance.
  • If the guest cancels less than 7 days in advance, the advance payment will not be refundable.
  • If the guest cancels more than 21 days in advance, the advance payment will be refunded.
  • If the guest cancels with less than 21 days in advance but prior to 7 days before their reservation, the advance payment will be refunded excluding their 1st nights stay.
  • If the guest arrives and decides to leave early, the paid nights will not be refundable.
  • In case the guest simply does not show up (and does not cancel in advance), the total price of the reservation will be charged and this will be non-refundable.



Pet Policy

At The Haus Windham, we understand that pets are an integral part of your family, and we welcome you and your furry friends to enjoy a comfortable and memorable stay with us. To ensure a pleasant experience for all guests, we have established the following pet policy:

  1. Pet Types: We accept dogs, cats, and other small domestic animals, subject to our discretion. If you have a pet other than a dog or a cat, please contact us in advance to inquire about its eligibility.
  2. Pet Limit: You may bring a maximum of 1pets per room. However, exceptions can be made based on the size and type of pets, at the discretion of the hotel management.
  3. Pet Size: For the comfort and safety of all our guests, we have size restrictions for pets. Dogs and cats must weigh no more than 80 pounds (36 kilograms). Larger pets may be considered on a case-by-case basis, depending on the availability of suitable accommodations.
  4. Pet Reservations: To ensure availability and appropriate accommodation, please make sure to include the pet fee at the end of your reservation process. This will allow us to assign a pet-friendly room and make necessary arrangements. Failure to do so will result in a $100 Charge
  5. Pet Fees: A non-refundable pet fee of $75 per stay will be applied to your room charges. This fee covers additional cleaning and maintenance required after your pet's stay to ensure a fresh and allergen-free environment for future guests.
  6. Pet Behavior and Etiquette:

a. All pets must be kept on a leash or in a carrier when outside of the guest room.

b. Pet owners are responsible for promptly cleaning up after their pets.

c. Pets must not be left unattended in the guest room, unless they are caged or crated.

d. Excessive noise or any other disruptive behavior by pets may result in a request to remove the pet from the premises.

  7. Damages and Liability:

a. Pet owners are fully responsible for any damage caused by their pets to hotel property or furnishings. Additional charges will be applied for any necessary repairs or replacements.

b. In the event of disturbances or complaints from other guests due to your pet's behavior, you may be asked to find alternative accommodation for your pet.


By bringing your pet to The Haus Windham, you agree to abide by this pet policy. We reserve the right to refuse accommodation to any pet or guest who does not comply with these guidelines or whose pet may pose a threat to the safety or comfort of other guests and staff.
